Speedsketch: Down the Hole

This is from a series of environment speed-paintings I did just for fun.

This one is a sketch of a massive hole in the ground. I see this as a huge cave, that drives several hundreds feet into the Earth. The cave runs so deep that steam arises from far within the planet.
